Souffle = Romance baby!
I’d like to share an email a client sent me recently:
“Hi Chris, How are you? I am well. Thanks again for the stretches, my shoulder is starting to feel really good. I wanted to ask you a question that isn’t really related to Osteopathy though, even though I do find Osteopathy to be a fascinating topic. I know you like cooking, and are pretty smooth with the ladies, and I was hoping you might be able to send me the link to a recipe for a nice dessert I might be able to make for a special lady-friend of mine who I am trying to impress. Any help would be appreciated”.
My response:
“Thanks for the update, good to hear the shoulder’s improving. And cheers for calling me smooth, I do try my best. Mate I have attached the link to the Gourmet Traveller website, where this recipe for a Burnt Orange Marmalade Souffle caught my eye. I made it a couple of weekends ago, my tip – buy your own marmalade (I used Hank’s Orange and Lime Marmalade which was superb), and put it in the saucepan for a little bit to get the caramelised effect. And if you don’t have Grand Marnier, use Cointreau. I think you will find this recipe will have the desired effect. Chris”
